Smoke Signals is the monthly newsletter of the Shawnee Hills Property Owners Association. The newsletter is written by and for the members of the community to keep members apprised of upcoming events, governmental issues, and points of interest.
Each issue contains a monthly calendar of events along with SHPOA clubs submitting articles featuring special events, community projects, and wildlife seen at the lake. There is also a classified ad section that is free to Shawnee Hills residents for non-business items they are wanting to sell. Designing, printing and mailing costs for each month's newsletter is partially supported by local residents and businesses through the purchase of advertising. Members are encouraged to support the businesses that help support our newsletter.
