2021 Deed Amendments (Closed)

As part of our ongoing effort to operate, administer, maintain, and reasonably protect the Shawnee Hills Subdivision community, we are proposing five amendments we hope you will approve for inclusion in our Plat Map Restrictions that (A) increases the annual assessment, (B) clarifies owner maintenance responsibilities, (C) prohibits owners 30 days delinquent from voting or using recreational facilities, (D) prohibits certain classified sexual offenders/child-victim offenders from living in or entering our community, and (E) enables the Association to charge new owners a one-time, membership fee. Below are the results.

AMENDMENT A:

Increases the annual assessment amount to $200.00 per lot.


AMENDMENT B:

Clarifies and specifies the Owner’s exterior lot maintenance responsibilities.


AMENDMENT C:

Prohibits Owners/occupants 30 days in arrears from voting or using the recreational facilities.


AMENDMENT D:

Prohibits sexual offenders, for whom the county sheriff must provide community notice, from residing in, occupying, or remaining on the property.


AMENDMENT E:

Permits the Association to assess all future purchasers of lots at Shawnee Hills a one-time membership fee.
